Founder & CEO
Sanjeev is originally from the Pacific Northwest and taught himself how to program computers in the late 1970’s at the age of 12. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from Willamette University and has been in the software industry for over 30 years. Highlights of his career include working for Microsoft as a lead developer on Windows 2000 and Windows XP and writing an initial POC for software for an instant messaging application on Windows 95 that was later acquired by Microsoft Exchange and eventually became MSN Messenger. Prior to founding Whetstone Technologies, Sanjeev was CTO of Proscape Technologies.

John has 25 years of experience in software architecture including twelve years with Microsoft Consulting Services. His projects have won multiple industry innovation awards. While consulting at Bank One (later JP Morgan Chase), he increased throughput of the electronic bill payment batch systems by an order of magnitude and reduced the number of payments sent by paper check resulting in $6+ million annual savings. While at the FDIC, John rearchitected the bank examination systems during the 2008 financial crisis.
Vik has 18 years of successful sales leadership, consulting & business development experience with the proven ability to develop new business, build repeat business and establish long-term positive customer and partner relationships at all levels. He has worked with some of the largest healthcare providers & financial services organizations and has generated over 60 million in revenue across three continents at CA Technologies.
Rajeev is an entrepreneur and investor who holds a PhD from MIT.
Rajeev founded Flash Communications, Photo.net and Scalable Display Technologies.
Flash Communications was sold to Microsoft(MSFT) in 1999 as a precursor to the MSN Messenger service and Exchange IM.
Photo.net is one of the largest online photography community and one of the first photosharing websites, in 2000 it was a top 1000 website sold to NameMedia in 2007
Scalable Display Technologies is located in Cambridge, MA and is based on technology from Rajeev's PhD thesis. The company creates scalable multi-projector seamless displays with no boundaries.
Rajeev works with many startups and helps with business development, product management, product market fit, licensing, IP creation, funding, getting customers, recruiting, and strategic m&a especially with technology based companies.
Durjoy (Ace) Bhattacharjya
Durjoy (Ace) Bhattacharjya is an experienced entrepreneur and Internet executive based in Boston. Before trading the agency world for the startup world, Ace worked for some of the world’s greatest brands including Ford, IBM, Mercedes Benz, Starwood, JetBlue and Pfizer.
Ace is currently the Founder and CEO of medicalrecords.com, a Boston-based healthcare IT firm. Prior to starting his own company, Ace was Vice President of Interactive Marketing for the renowned EXOS / Athletes’ Performance and also ran Advanced Media for the United States Tennis Association and the US Open.
He is an advisor and early stage investor to a number of companies including: DirectDerm, Amino Apps, Douroosi, Toscanini's Ice Cream, SocialSign.in, Kapitall and Sharalike.
Ace has a BA from Boston University in International Relations / Economics and is a mentor to BU’s Kindle program as well as a member of BU’s Med-Tech / Physical Sciences Ignition Award committee. As member of the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, Ace is a judge for the Webby Awards. He has also participated and been Head Judge at the Harvard Business School Venture Competition for many years.
Patricia is an entrepreneur and intrapreneur. The startup bug bit while she was part of a Fortune 500 organization who established an emerging technology innovation center. The group she managed was tasked with selling the team's ideas and solutions to individual business units to cover their multi-million dollar budget and to position the company as a technology leader.
From there she joined a startup in the Fintech industry where she led the IT development and operations team, and participated in due diligence for venture capital funding. The company made a successful exit.
So what happened next? Well, of course, she started her own company - this time in the e-commerce industry. After growing and operating her business for over 15 years, she joined Whetstone Technologies to provide assistance with both product and business strategy.
Patricia holds an MBA - MIS from Drexel University where she earned membership in Alpha Iota Delta, the honor society for the decision sciences.
Charles Lewis was Director of Technology at BP and worked on multiple projects resulting in 100’s of millions of dollars in value for the company. He holds patents in AI and predictive analytics.
At Air Products, in addition to his work as a Chief Architect, he worked with the Senior Leadership Team and co-created a new business venture called Guardavent that leveraged analytics, AI, communications and data collection to monitor and predict adverse events in patients at home with chronic health conditions. The company was independently audited by the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School to be worth at least $1 Billion in revenues by 2012.
He is currently Senior Partner at 2thedge, a digital innovation consultancy.
Charles is an effective and proven leader and mentor with a talent for communicating appropriately from the board room to the back room. He also provides an in-depth understanding of both business and technical aspects of IT and process industries, with well-developed people and technical skills.
Paul Sloate is an experienced entrepreneur and Finance executive based out of Philadelphia. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Paul served in senior positions with some of the most prominent financial firms in the US, including BlackRock Financial Management and Wellington Management Inc.
He is currently the Founder and CEO of Green Drake Advisors, a Philadelphia based Financial firm focused on Wealth Management, Wealth Planning, and Business & Economic Advisory
Paul has spent over 30 years advising families, businesses, and institutions on wealth management, finance, strategy, and global economics. He has appeared on TV on numerous occasions to share his expertise with the public and hosted Money Matters TV for many years. In addition to his time given to sharing his knowledge, Paul has served on industry bodies such as the Financial Accounting Policy Committee of the Association for Investment Management & Research.
Paul attended Cornell University where he earned an AB, Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa in History and Economics. He also earned an MBA with Distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Paul has served as a judge for the annual Wharton Business School start-up competition, advised many early stage companies, and helped companies to find appropriate financing to underpin their growth.
